🐍 “Year of the Snake” – A New Drop from Hori Benny + Invasion Club
After sitting on this one for way too long, I’m finally letting the snakes loose.
This is my first time releasing the same piece in two different formats:a full-sized, signed giclée art print and a traditional hand-dyed Japanese tenugui. Both feature the same design, but each hits totally different depending on how you live with it!
This piece has been a long time coming. I started sketching her out during a weird, quiet period over a year ago.. and as Is tradition, I always do a tenugui printed sig with an original character for the Chinese zodiac. But this year I felt like it was time to do a high quality paper print more suitable for framing.
🖤 ABOUT THE DROP
This release was delayed for good reason - we were busy shipping Laura Anunnaki’s Heartless Collection (On Sale Now!), upgrading to a faster warehouse, and lining up the biggest announcement Invasion Club has ever made (👀).
But now it’s time!
This is the first edition of Year of the Snake, released in two formats:
🎴 The Giclée Art Print
841mm × 374mm (about 33.7" × 14.7")
Printed on archival paper
Individually signed & numbered
Edition of 60
🧣 The Tenugui Towel
90cm × 36cm
Hand-dyed in Japan
100% cotton
Meant to be used, worn, displayed
Limited availability
I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a long time, a design that could live both on a wall and on a body.
Thanks to everyone who supports this surreal little world we’re building!
Time to let this girl slither into your life!
