This project brings together TeddyLoid’s explosive sound with Hori Benny’s world of original characters, tattoo-inspired designs, and psychedelic chaos. The result is a high-energy animation that chronicles the journey of Miki, Invasion Club’s longest running original character, as she transcends into Devi’s alien realm of evil. It is the fulfillment of so many childhood dreams to work in collaboration with fellow artists on an animation project. My vision for Invasion Club has always been more than just a tattoo studio. It has been for a place that breathes life into original characters, stories, style, and creative worlds. Seeing one of those ideas connect with TeddyLoid’s music and take shape through animation feels like a glimpse of the bigger universe that we’ve always wanted to build.
