Invasion Club founder Hori Benny recently appeared as a guest on the Trash Taste Podcast.

In the episode, Benny sits down with the Trash Taste hosts for a wide-ranging conversation about tattooing, life in Japan, and the path that led from his early apprenticeship years to building Invasion Club and opening our new studio in Tokyo!

The conversation touches on more than two decades of experience as a foreign tattoo artist in Japan, including the challenges, changes, and creative opportunities that have shaped Benny’s work and the studio’s direction over the years. Anime, subculture, tattooing, and life in Japan have always been deeply connected to the world of Invasion Club, so it was great to sit down with the boys and dive into the deep end!
